Team roles

Access is granted per account, with one role per member. A member's role applies across every brand in the account.

The roles

Owner. The person who created the account. Full access, plus the things nobody else can do: managing the plan, inviting and removing members, changing roles, and deleting brands. There is exactly one owner, and the Team tab is visible only to them.

Inviting colleagues is available on the trial as well as on a paid plan.

Editor. Can change what is measured and read everything. Editors add and edit prompts and groups, manage competitors, edit brand settings, run site audits, and manage integrations.

Viewer. Read-only. Viewers see dashboards, metrics, sources, prompt gaps, audit results and reports, and can filter and drill down freely. They cannot change anything that affects data collection — including the incidental writes, such as reordering group chips, that would alter another member's view. In Settings they get their own password and MCP connections, nothing else.

Choosing a role

Give analysts and stakeholders Viewer. It covers everything needed to read and interpret the product. It also protects the thing that is easy to break by accident: the prompt set. Changing prompts changes what is measured, which makes period-over-period comparisons invalid for everyone.

Give Editor to the people who own the programme — whoever decides which questions matter and acts on the findings. Keep the group small, and agree when prompt-set changes happen, because everyone's trends run through that decision.

The owner is a billing and administration role, not a seniority marker.

Changing access

• Role changes take effect on the member's next request.
• Removing a member revokes access immediately. Work they created — prompts, groups, competitors — remains.
• Pending invitations can be revoked before acceptance.
• MCP connections inherit the role. A viewer's MCP connection is read-only in the same way their account is; removing a member ends their connections too.
